Broad Steel

We are over in Vashi, Sector 19, inside the Grohitam Building at Plot No-230. It’s a very busy area because we are right near the APMC Market. There are always trucks carrying vegetables and grains passing by, so the noise is constant. Our office handles steel trading. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It isn't a factory where we make things; it's more about the logistics and making sure the steel gets to where it needs to go. The building is usually full of other businesses too. It gets crowded in the elevators during lunch. We like being near the market because there’s always somewhere to grab a quick meal. Sometimes the traffic in Vashi makes it hard to get to work on time. We've been at this address for several years. It’s a small office with just enough room for our desks and a few files. We don’t do much in the way of promotion. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for a long time. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the prices. It’s a fast-paced environment but we’re used to it. Just another day in Navi Mumbai. Sometimes we stay late when there are shipments to track across the country. The tea here is actually quite good if you know which vendor to call.
