Akshay Stone

Our yard is located at Survey No.323 in the TTC Industrial Area. If you know the Nerul MIDC section of Nerul, you probably know the area well. Akshay Stone is basically a large open space where we keep all the stock. It’s not a fancy showroom with lights and carpets. It’s just stacks of stone and a small cabin where we sit to handle the phone calls. The air in Nerul can be a bit heavy because of all the industry around, but we’re used to it. We spend most of our time outside, moving pieces around and checking the pieces that come in. We don't have a big staff, just a few reliable people who know how to handle the heavy lifting. It’s a straightforward business. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or polished brochures. We just show people what we have available on the lot. The ground is uneven and it can get muddy when it rains, but that’s just the nature of the work. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while, and we’ve seen the industrial area change around us. Despite all the growth, we still do things the same way we always have. We wake up, open the gates, and see what the day brings. It’s a lot of physical labor, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the yard organized and ready. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily load.
