A.K. Ceramics

We opened up A.K. Ceramics at Plot No.25 in Sector 23 quite some time ago. If you look across the street, you will see the Global Granite Marble Market, which is usually where most of the noise comes from. Being in Sector 23 means things stay pretty busy throughout the day. We spend a lot of our time moving boxes of tiles around and making sure things are stacked right so nothing breaks. It is physical work, and our hands usually have some dust on them by lunchtime. People come in from all over the area looking for things for their new houses or maybe just a small repair job. We have different types of ceramics on the racks, and we try to keep them organized, though it gets messy when we are busy. The shop isn't fancy, just a practical place to see what you're buying. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance for a bit while they unload, but that is just how it goes here. We have a small table where we sit and talk to people about what they need for their floors or walls. It is mostly local folks stopping by. We drink a lot of tea while we work and listen to the trucks going into the market across the road. It’s a good spot to be in, even if the traffic gets a bit much on some afternoons. We hope people find what they need without too much fuss.
