Vaibhav Misal And Chinese is located on Lam Road, right at the Vihitgaon Naka on Nashik Road. We have a bit of a mix here. We do the local favorite, which is Misal, and we also do Chinese food. It might seem like an odd combination but people around here seem to like having the choice. Nashik - 422101 is our location. The shop isn't very large. It’s a typical local eatery. We have some benches and tables where you can sit. It gets quite busy during breakfast time for Misal and then again in the evening for the Chinese dishes. We start early in the morning to get the Misal samples ready. The spices have to be just right. Then later in the day, the woks come out for the noodles and fried rice. Vihitgaon Naka is a busy junction, so there is always noise from the traffic. We get a lot of commuters stopping by for a quick plate of food. My brothers and I run the place mostly. We aren't chefs from a school, we just learned how to cook by doing it. The floors are stone and the walls have a few posters. It’s a simple life. We focus on making sure the food is hot and served fast. We don't have a menu with pictures. People usually just know what they want. It’s been our spot for a few years now. We're not doing anything revolutionary, just cooking the same way we always have for our regulars.
