Chak De Restaurant

Chak De Restaurant is over on Lam Road in Deolali, Nashik. We’re in the Shri Sambhav Apartment building. It’s a good spot because we are right near Octroi Naka No 6 and across from the Bharat Petrol Pump. Renuka Garden is just a short walk away too. My family and I have been running this place for quite a while now. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen or making sure the dining area is ready for the lunch crowd. Deolali is a bit quieter than the main Nashik city, but Lam Road still gets plenty of traffic. We see a lot of people stopping by after they fill up their vehicles at the pump. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a corporate manual here. It’s just us and a few helpers. We focus on getting the cooking right and making sure the plates are clean for the next person. The summers get really hot, so the fans are always on full blast. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic chairs when it’s slow. We get a mix of travelers and local residents from the apartments nearby. It’s a simple business. We don't overcomplicate things. We just open the shutters in the morning, prep the food, and stay until the last customer leaves at night. It’s hard work, but it’s our own thing and we’ve made a lot of friends in the neighborhood over the years.
