Shrikrishna Engineering Company

Our shop is Shrikrishna Engineering Company, and we are situated at D-90 in the Ambad MIDC area. Being in an industrial zone means it’s all about metal, oil, and the sound of machinery. The air always smells like grease and burnt steel, which is just part of the job. We have a lot of heavy equipment scattered around the floor—lathes, drills, and benches covered in various tools. It’s not a clean environment by any means. Your hands are almost always stained with something that doesn't wash off easily. We spend the day working on different parts, sometimes repair jobs or making something new from a sketch. The light comes in through the big shutter doors, and when it’s raining, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can’t hear yourself think. We don't have an office with air conditioning; we just have a small corner with a metal desk where the paperwork gets piled up. It's a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the machines. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we just get on with the work without needing to say much. We are just a small engineering outfit in the middle of a lot of other factories. We focus on the metal in front of us and making sure the measurements are right before we send anything out the door.
