Kalatmak

Down here at 51 Satya Niketan, things are usually pretty busy because of all the students and the general energy of the neighborhood. Kalatmak is a bit of a creative space, but it’s also just a regular office where we handle the day-to-day business side of things. We aren't in a big glass skyscraper; we're right in the middle of the local streets. The office is often filled with various materials and sketches, and it can look a bit messy to an outsider, but there's a system to it all. We don't have a huge staff, just a few people who really enjoy the work and the atmosphere of Satya Niketan. We often grab lunch from the local stalls nearby because the food is good and it’s quick. Our work involves a lot of back-and-forth communication and making sure the creative projects stay on track. We don't really go for the polished, corporate look. We’re more likely to be seen in jeans and t-shirts. It’s a relaxed environment, but we still put in the hours to make sure everything gets finished. We don't have any grand slogans or anything like that. We just like making things and running a small business that feels personal to us and our regulars. If you're in the area, you'll see us near the main market stretch. It’s a lively place to be, and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
