Krishnapal Foods

Our shop, Krishnapal Foods, is right in Vakil Wadi, over in the Raviwar Karanja area of Panchavati. It’s a very old part of the city and it’s always buzzing with people. We’ve been here for years, and the building has seen a lot of history. We sell food items, mostly local stuff that people need for their daily cooking. It’s a small space, so it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of customers, but we don't mind. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting. We just put the products out where people can see them. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when it’s quiet and watch the world go by. The traffic in Panchavati can be quite something, especially during festival times. We just stay open and keep serving whoever walks through the door. It’s not a complicated business. We buy things, we sell things, and we try to be fair with everyone. Our family has been doing this for a long time. It’s just what we do. The shelves are wooden and a bit old, but they hold everything just fine. We like it here in this corner of the city. It’s busy and loud, but it’s home. We don't need much more than a steady stream of customers and some good conversation to keep us going through the day.
