Shivsai Veg-Chinese Corner

Shivsai Veg-Chinese Corner is located on Narayan Bapu Nagar Road in Nashik. We are right near the Narayan Bapu Nagar Chowk, so we see a lot of local traffic and people walking home in the evenings. We do a bit of everything, from regular veg dishes to the Chinese style of food that people really seem to like these days. It’s a small shop, not one of those big fancy restaurants. We have a few benches for people to sit on, but it’s often crowded around the counter with people waiting for their parcels. We spend most of our time at the big pans, tossing the food around over high flames. It gets very hot in the kitchen, but that’s just part of the job. We don't have a professional manager or anything; it’s just us doing the cooking, the cleaning, and the serving all at once. We don't use any fancy ingredients, just what we can get from the local market every day. The chowk is always noisy and there’s always something happening right outside our door. We’ve been here for a while now and we know most of our customers by name. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. We just focus on getting the food out hot and making sure we don't run out of supplies before the night is over. It is hard work but we just keep at it.
