Shanty

My shop is called Shanty and it’s located at Nishigandha Avenue, right near the Datta Mandir stop in Nashik. We are at shop number 8. If you know where the Bharat Petrol Pump is, we are very close to that. I’ve been running this little place for a while. It isn’t a huge store, just a small space where I keep all my stock. People from the neighborhood come by when they are waiting for the bus at Datta Mandir. It's a busy corner of the city. I try to keep things organized but sometimes boxes get stacked up when a new delivery comes in. It’s just me and one other person helping out most days. We get to know the regulars pretty well since they live in the apartments around here. The petrol pump next door means there is always traffic and people moving about. The shop doesn't have any big flashy lights or anything. Just a regular sign above the door. I open up in the morning and stay until late evening. It's a simple life running a shop in Nashik. Nothing fancy happens here, we just sell what people need and have a chat now and then. Sometimes the rain gets in a bit if the wind is strong, but we manage.
