Red Tadka

If you are looking for us, we are in the Sambhav Apartment building on Lam Road in Deolali. It’s quite easy to find since Bagwati Furniture is just nearby. Deolali is a nice place, a bit slower than the main Nashik city, and we like it that way. Red Tadka is just a local eatery where we focus on getting the flavors right. We use local ingredients that we get from the market nearby. The place isn't very big, so it can feel a bit crowded during dinner time. We have a few tables set up, and they are usually filled with people from the neighborhood. Some folks come in for a quick lunch while they are out running errands. We don't have fancy menus with photos or anything. It’s just a printed sheet with the prices. We try to keep the prices fair so people can come back often without worrying too much about the cost. The staff is just a couple of guys who work hard to get the food out fast. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long if we have too many orders at once, but people usually don't mind waiting a few minutes. It feels like a small community here. You see the same faces every week. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just serving hot food to hungry people. It’s an honest way to earn a living and we enjoy being part of the Deolali scene.
