Our workshop is out in Satpur, specifically at 93/9 in the MIDC area. It’s a proper industrial setting where you can hear the hum of machines from the next building over. We work on robotics and automation stuff, which sounds high-tech, but the actual day-to-day is mostly metal, wires, and a lot of testing. The floor is concrete and usually has some scuff marks from moving heavy frames around. We have a small office area, but most of the action happens out where the machines are being built. There’s a specific smell of ozone and cutting oil that you never really get out of your clothes. We don't have a fancy showroom; if you come by, you’ll probably see us huddled over a control panel or trying to figure out why a sensor isn't tripping. It’s honest work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought, and we end up staying late while the industrial estate goes quiet around us. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break to complain about the heat or a stubborn bolt. It’s just a group of us who like making things move on their own, working in a part of Satpur that’s always been about making things. We have a few old desks and some mismatched chairs in the breakroom, but nobody really minds that as long as the work gets done.
