Madras Cafe Restaurant

Our restaurant, Madras Cafe Restaurant, is on Station Road in Nashik. More specifically, we are on Dr Ambedkar Road, right by the petrol pump which is a major landmark here. It’s a very busy part of Nashik Road because of all the people going to and from the railway station every day. We have been here for a long time and we’ve seen the city grow and change quite a bit around us. The petrol pump next door always has a line of vehicles, so there is a lot of noise and the smell of exhaust in the air sometimes. Our place is very simple. We have wooden chairs and a few fans that hum while they spin to keep the air moving. We don't have any fancy decorations or expensive art on the walls. It’s just a place for people to get a meal without any trouble. Most of our customers are travelers or people who work at the station nearby. We don't have a website or do any kind of advertising. We just rely on people seeing our sign as they walk or drive by the pump. The work is hard and we are on our feet most of the day, but that’s just how it goes for a small business. We don't have any big corporate goals or visions. We just want to do our job well enough and go home at the end of the day. The routine stays the same, and we like seeing the familiar faces of the people who stop in.
