Khandesh Matan Spcial Dhaba has been operating out of shop number 13 at Datta Chowk for some time now. We are located in the Cidco area of Nashik, which is a pretty active neighborhood. Most people find us because we are so close to the Janlxmi Bank right there at the chowk. It’s a dhaba, so don’t expect anything too polished or quiet. We like the noise and the energy of the street. Being at Datta Chowk means we see all sorts of people coming through 422009. We started this place because we wanted to serve the kind of food we enjoy eating ourselves. It’s a simple setup with tables and chairs where you can just sit down and have a heavy meal without any fuss. We don’t have a big corporate office or a PR person writing things for us. It’s just us in the kitchen making sure the meat is cooked right. The address is easy to find if you are familiar with Cidco. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years but we’ve stayed right here in our little shop. It’s a bit cramped when it gets busy in the evenings but that’s part of the charm of a local dhaba. We just keep our heads down and focus on the cooking every single day. We don't do fancy menus, we just write what's available for the day.
