Out here in Ellipalayam, things are a bit slower than in the big cities. We’re located at 5/102A, near the Akkiyampatty post office in Sendamangalam. White Cloud Agro Food Products Privatelimited is the name on our door. We focus on food products that come from the local area. The office is really just a simple building where we manage the processing and the paperwork. It’s a rural setting, surrounded by trees and fields. We don't have a marketing team or a big advertising budget. We just rely on the quality of what we produce. A lot of our staff come from the nearby villages, so we all know each other well. The workday starts early and usually ends when the sun goes down. We handle a lot of different crops depending on what time of year it is. Sometimes the rain messes with our schedule, but we just adjust and keep going. It’s a lot of manual work and checking bags of produce. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably find someone busy with a scale or a ledger. It’s just a straightforward way of doing business in the countryside. We focus on the food and the people who grow it. That’s enough for us. The road out here is bumpy, especially after the monsoon rains. Most of us just use our motorbikes to get back and forth from our homes.
