Andipalayam Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our place is in Erode, at 22/1 Kamarajar Nagar Main Road in Andipalayam. We are close to the Odathurai post office area. P.Mettupalayam is where most of our fields are. It’s a busy part of the district with lots of activity. We started this company because we wanted a way for local farmers to talk to each other more. There are a lot of us in this area, mostly growing things that do well in the Erode heat. It’s not an easy climate to work in, but we make it work somehow. Our office is right on the main road so it’s easy for the trucks to stop by when they need to. We aren't trying to be some big corporation with fancy offices. We just want to make sure the people growing the food get a fair deal for their sweat. We spend our mornings in the fields and our afternoons at the office. Sometimes the office is just a place to hide from the sun for a bit and have a cold drink. We talk about irrigation and who has a tractor available for rent. It’s all very practical stuff. We don't use big words or have complicated business plans. We just plant, water, and harvest. Then we do it all over again next season. It's a cycle that we've all been part of since we were kids. Erode is our home and farming is our life. We just do the best we can every day.
