You will find us in 2 No Nathkuchi, right near the Assam Sintex post office in the Tihu area of Nalbari. We are a krishi vikash and producer company, which is just a fancy way of saying we work on agricultural development for our local farmers. Nalbari is a place where almost everyone has some connection to the land, and we are no different. We spend our time going from one farm to another, talking to people about their rice or their vegetables. We help with getting the right supplies and finding places to sell the produce once it is harvested. Our office is a very plain building where we keep our maps and our ledger books. We are not a big company with a lot of money; we are just local folks who decided to get organized. Sometimes it is hard to get everyone moving in the same direction, but we do our best. The roads around here can be tough when it rains, so we do a lot of walking or riding on old bikes to get where we need to go. We don't have a marketing team or any glossy brochures to show people. We just rely on our reputation in the village of Nathkuchi. We are just trying to make sure that the hard work the farmers put in actually results in something good for their families. It is a long process and we take it one season at a time.
