Ssj Bio Energy Farmers Producer Company Limited operates out of a house, number 214, in Birohibirohi, Sadar. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but what we do is pretty straightforward. We are looking at how farmers can get into the bio energy side of things. Usually, farmers just grow food, but there is a lot of waste and other stuff that can be used for energy too. We are a group from around the Sadar area who wanted to see if we could make that work. It’s a local effort. We don't have a big corporate headquarters or anything like that. House 214 is where the meetings happen and where the paperwork sits. Being in Birohi, we are close to the people who actually do the work. We talk a lot about what to do with crop residue and how to keep the farms profitable. It isn't always glamorous. A lot of the time, it’s just trying to figure out the logistics of moving materials or talking to local authorities. We aren't experts in suits; we are just people who live here and see an opportunity to do something different. It takes a lot of patience to get people on board with new ideas like bio energy. We take it one day at a time, mostly focusing on the practical side of how to get the machinery and the materials in place. It is a slow change, but we are staying with it to make it happen right here in Sadar.
