Baroliya Producer Company Limited

We are over here in Baranghati, Nalbari. It’s a quiet spot near Sanekuchi. Amit Kalita’s place is where we mostly get together to handle the paperwork and talk about the crops. Being a producer company means we spend a lot of time out in the fields or sitting around the office figuring out the next steps for the harvest. It isn't a fancy setup. We deal with the daily stuff, the weather, and making sure the members get what they need. Some days are slow, especially when the rain hits hard in Assam, but we keep at it. People know where to find us if they need to talk about the farming business. We started this because things were getting hard for individual growers to manage on their own. Now, we just pool what we have. It’s mostly local folks from around the village. You won’t find any big signs or glass buildings here. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of talk about seeds and prices. Sometimes the internet is bad, so we do things the old way with notebooks. It’s just how we work here in Sanekuchi. We are just a group of people trying to make the farm work better for everyone involved. If you come by, you’ll likely see us drinking tea and looking at the ledgers. That’s pretty much the whole story of Baroliya and how we spend our time.
