Rawmari Agro Producer Company Limited

Rawmari Agro Producer Company Limited is based over in Udhantala. We are located on Udhantala Road, near the Po- Dhing area in Nagaon. Our land is under PP No 199. We are a group of local farmers who decided to form this company to help move our agricultural products. It’s been a bit of a learning curve for us, figuring out all the rules and regulations. Usually, we are out in the fields more than we are in the office. The office is just a basic place to keep our tools and some of the seeds. We grow the usual stuff you see around this part of Nagaon. It’s hard work and doesn't pay a lot, but it's what our families have done for generations. We try to coordinate our planting so we don't all have the same thing ready at the exact same time. It helps with the prices. We don't have any fancy technology. It's mostly just us, our tractors, and a lot of manual labor. Sometimes the river gives us trouble, or the heat gets to be too much in the middle of the day. We just take breaks and keep going. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the people who work the land get a fair deal. You can find us if you head down the road past Dhing. Nagaon is a big area, but here in Udhantala, things are a bit quieter. We just focus on our specific patch of land and the neighbors we work with. It's not a corporate lifestyle at all, just boots on the ground and dirty hands.
