You can find Vinar Ispat Ltd. at number 12 in the Steel Chamber building over in Wardhaman Nagar. Being in the Steel Chamber makes sense for what we do, obviously. It’s a busy area with a lot of heavy lifting and trucks coming in and out constantly. The air always has a bit of a metallic smell to it, and there is usually dust on the windows from the traffic. We have a small office here where we handle the trading and the orders. It’s not a place where you’d come for a fancy meeting. We have metal chairs and a couple of old fans that hum all day long. Most of the people who work here have been in the steel business for a long time. We know the prices and we know who is buying what. Wardhaman Nagar is a practical place for a business like ours because everything is geared towards industry. We don’t spend money on decorations or shiny things. We just want to make sure the loads are weighed right and the invoices are sent out on time. Sometimes it gets loud with all the activity in the building, but that’s just life in the Steel Chamber. We keep things straightforward. If you need us, we are usually here from nine until six, just working through the piles of paper on our desks.
