Umiya Tiles

Umiya Tiles is located at Plot No-30, right at Bhurey Corner near Baidyanath Chowk. It’s a spot that’s easy to find because of all the traffic coming through the junction. We have stacks and stacks of tiles everywhere, so the place looks a bit like a maze sometimes. We try to keep it organized, but when a new shipment comes in, things tend to get piled up wherever there's space. We’re just regular folks who know how to help someone pick out a floor or a wall piece that won't fall apart. We don't use high-pressure sales tactics because we’d rather people just take their time and look around. The shop gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we usually have a fan going and some cold water for anyone who stops in. We’ve seen a lot of changes around Baidyanath Chowk over the years, but we’ve stayed right here on our plot. Sometimes customers come in with sketches on napkins, and we do our best to find something that matches what they're thinking. It’s a hands-on kind of business, and our clothes are usually covered in a bit of ceramic dust by the end of the shift. We aren’t a giant chain, just a local tile shop trying to help out the neighbors with their building projects. We take things as they come and try to keep it simple.
