Kajal Tiles

We set up shop at Plot 28 in Nirmal Colony. It is in the Naraghat area, right over in Jaripatka. We deal with tiles all day long. Boxes and boxes of them are stacked up in our warehouse. It is a lot of heavy lifting, moving those crates around so people can see the patterns. We do not have one of those massive showrooms you see in the city center. It is more of a practical space where you can come and see what is actually in stock right now. Sometimes the shipments are late and we have to tell people to wait a few more days, which is not great, but we try to be honest about the delays. Most of our customers are locals from Jaripatka who are fixing up their bathrooms or kitchens. We know the neighborhood well. It is a busy place with lots of people coming and going. We do not do much advertising, mostly just folks seeing our sign when they pass through Nirmal Colony on their way home. The tile business is funny because trends change so fast, but we try to keep things that people actually want to use in their houses. It is just a few of us here, making sure things are organized and helping load the trucks when someone buys a few pallets. We keep the kettle going for when the drivers arrive and just keep things moving.
