Shivam Marble House

Shivam Marble House is located at Shop No-15 in Jaripatka. We are right by the Police Chawki on Nara Road. It is a convenient spot for people living in this part of town. The shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. We keep a lot of tiles and smaller marble pieces inside where it is dry. Outside, we have some of the bigger slabs leaning against the walls. Nara Road is always moving with bikes and cars, so there is a lot of activity right in front of our door. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the samples because the road brings in a lot of dirt. When people come in, they usually have a rough idea of what they want. We just walk them through the different colors and types we have. We don’t try to push anything on anyone. If we don’t have what they need, we just tell them. My family and I have been running this for a bit. It is a simple life. We open early and stay until the sun goes down. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when it is quiet and watch the people going to the police station or the markets. It’s just a normal shop doing normal business. We know many of our neighbors and they often stop by just to chat for a minute while they are out running errands.
