The Royal Gondwana Public School

The Royal Gondwana Public School is situated out toward Shankarpur and Khapri, right along the busy Wardha Road. It is a bit of a drive for some people, but the area is growing fast. The school sits on a decent piece of land, so there is more room for the kids to spread out a bit compared to schools right in the middle of the city. We have the standard buildings you would expect to see for a public school. Inside, the walls are usually decorated with whatever the students have been working on lately. It is a busy place from early morning until the buses leave in the afternoon. You can hear the traffic from Wardha Road sometimes, but once you are inside the gates, it feels a bit more contained and quiet. The staff mostly lives in the surrounding areas, so there is a real local feel to the place. We have the usual classrooms, a place for sports, and some offices where all the paperwork and administration gets handled. It is not a fancy setup, but it works for what we need to do every day. People from Khapri and Shankarpur know exactly where we are, and we have become a part of the daily commute for many families. Each day is pretty much the same routine of lessons and lunch breaks. We just try to keep the place running and make sure the students have what they need for their classes.
