Om Shri Laxmi Narayan Vidya Mandir

Om Shri Laxmi Narayan Vidya Mandir is located at Plot No. 1/2 in the Umredkar Layout on Hudkeswar Road, Nagpur. Since we are in a residential layout, the surroundings are mostly houses and small shops. The school is a simple, multi-story building that serves the children from the local neighborhood. We have a small open area in the front where we hold the morning assembly every day. The kids stand in rows and then head to their classrooms. The rooms are decorated with charts and drawings made by the students themselves. It is not a sprawling campus, but we make the most of the space we have. In the summer, Nagpur gets incredibly hot, so we have to use air coolers to keep the classrooms bearable for the kids. We have a small office near the stairs where we handle all the paperwork and meet with parents. Most of our teachers live in the nearby colonies, so they don't have far to travel. We know most of the families who send their children here, which gives the place a very friendly and local feel. We do not have a big playground, so the kids usually play small games in the yard during their breaks. It is a very modest setup where the main focus is just getting through the daily lessons and making sure the children are doing their homework. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs.
