The Cds School

The Cds School is located over in Shastri Layout, right near Hingna Road in Nagpur. It's been part of this area for a while now. When you walk in during the morning, you can hear the traffic from the main road, but once the gates shut, it settles down a bit. We spend most of our days here just getting through the lessons and making sure the kids are doing what they’re supposed to do. The classrooms are pretty standard, with the usual desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. Nagpur gets really hot in the summer months, so we try to keep the fans going as much as we can, though it’s still a bit of a struggle sometimes. Outside, there’s a small area where everyone gathers for the morning assembly and then later for lunch breaks. You’ll see the staff sitting together in the staffroom having tea during the short break, just talking about the day or the news. It’s not a place with a lot of bells and whistles, but it serves the families around here in Hingna well enough. Most of the parents work nearby, so they just drop the children off on their way. We focus on the basics like reading, writing, and some sports when the weather allows for it. It’s just a normal school day, day after day, and that’s how we like it. The walls have some old posters on them, and the floor is a bit worn, but it’s home to us.
