Suryodaya Science Academy

So, we are over here on Hingna Road in Wanadongri, right across from the Mahajanwadi bus stop. If you know Nagpur, you know this part of town gets pretty busy during the day with all the people moving around. We started Suryodaya Science Academy just because we saw a lot of kids in the neighborhood needing a place to sit down and actually focus on their science subjects without too much distraction. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that. We have a few rooms where we do the teaching and there’s usually some chalk dust on the floor by the end of the day. The building is easy to find because of the bus stop, which is helpful for the students who don’t live right next door. Sometimes the traffic noise is a bit much, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready and then the afternoons are packed when school lets out. It’s just a regular place where we try to get through the syllabus. There aren't any fancy lounges or coffee machines here, just benches and desks and plenty of notebooks lying around. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and most people around Wanadongri know where we are. It’s a practical space, honestly. We just open up in the morning, do the lessons, and make sure the kids are actually reading their books.
