It’s a decent area, and we’ve made our home in this plot for quite a bit. The yard is usually full of various iron pieces and steel beams waiting for their turn to be moved. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby with coffee machines. It’s just a gate, a yard, and the people who know how to handle the metal. Sometimes the trucks have a bit of a hard time maneuvering in the street when it's busy, but we’ve gotten good at guiding them in. The work is repetitive but it’s important. We spend our mornings checking the lists and our afternoons making sure everything is where it should be. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we’re always sweeping or moving things around to keep it somewhat tidy. We’re just regular people working a regular job. Most of us live nearby or have a short commute, so we know the neighborhood well. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear the sound of metal clanging together. That’s just us doing what we do. No bells and whistles, just a lot of steel and some hard work every day of the week.
