Sunflag Iron &Steel Co.Ltd. operates out of Plot Number 27 in New Prerana Nagar. It is tucked in near Mhalgi Nagar here in Nagpur, a spot that's pretty easy to find once you know the neighborhood. We share the space with Mukesh S. Bhapkar, so it feels more like a local spot than some giant corporate site. Dealing with steel takes up a lot of our day. It’s heavy, it’s noisy, and it definitely keeps you on your toes. We don't spend much time on computers or fancy paperwork if we can help it. Mostly, we are out there checking the inventory or making sure the trucks can get in and out of the plot without getting stuck. The yard can get a bit tight when we have a lot of material sitting around, but we manage to make it work. Neighbors see us around all the time, usually covered in a bit of grit from the yard. It’s just the nature of the trade. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just focus on the iron and steel that comes through the gate. It’s been our routine for a while now. Some days are slower than others, which gives us a chance to tidy up the stacks, but usually, there is something that needs moving. We’re just a group of people doing the work we know how to do right here in our corner of Nagpur.
