Sunflag Iron & Steel Company

We've been over here on Mahatma Gandhi Nager for quite some time now. Most folks in Nagpur know the Hudkeshwar Road area pretty well, and that’s exactly where you’ll find our Sunflag Iron & Steel Company building at number 275. It’s a busy place. Dealing with iron and steel isn't exactly quiet work, but it keeps us moving every day. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much, but that’s just how it is in this line of business. The guys come in early, usually when the sun is just starting to hit the road, and we stay until the job is done. It isn’t fancy here. There are no big offices with shiny glass or anything like that. We just have our yard and the equipment we need to move the heavy stuff around. People stop by to check on orders or just to see what’s in stock. We try to keep things organized, though it can get cluttered when a big shipment comes in or goes out. If you’re driving down toward the Nager, you can’t really miss us. We’ve got the name right out front. Most of us have been working with metal for years, so we know what we are looking at when a load arrives. It is hard work, mostly lifting and sorting, and it gets hot during the summer months in Nagpur. We just keep the fans going and get on with it. That is pretty much us.
