Sevak High School

Sevak High School is located between Vihirgaon and Hanuman Nagar. We are right in the Hanuman Nagar area of Nagpur, which is a place many of us call home. We are a high school, so we deal with the teenagers who are preparing for their big exams and figuring out what to do next with their lives. The school building isn't very large, and it looks quite plain, but it serves the purpose for the students. We don’t have a marketing department writing brochures for us. Usually, it is just one of the teachers or the office staff handling the paperwork and answering the phone. We have a set of classrooms and a small area for the kids to hang out during their free time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and some of the benches are a bit old, but we keep everything functional. It is a busy neighborhood, and we are right in the middle of it all. We don’t try to promise things we can’t do. We just provide a place for students to study and get their certificates. Most of our students live within walking distance or take the local bus to get here. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open for the breeze. It is a simple, local school that focuses on the daily work of teaching and learning without any extra fuss.
