Sam Marbles

We are located on the Mankapur Ring Road, heading towards Katol Road. It’s a wide stretch of road, so there is plenty of room for the trucks that come in and out of Sam Marbles. Being in Mankapur means we deal with a lot of dust, especially when the wind picks up. It’s just part of the job when you work with stone. We have rows of slabs sitting out, and they aren't always perfectly clean, but you can see what they are. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned office. We usually sit in a small cabin on the side. The work is heavy and physical. Moving these blocks takes time and effort. We don't use a lot of marketing talk because the stone speaks for itself. It’s either what someone wants or it isn't. Some days the sun is really beating down on the yard, and other days it’s raining so hard we have to stop. We just take it as it comes. Folks driving by often stop to look at what we have in the front. We are just a local bunch of people trying to keep the yard running smoothly. It’s a simple life here on the Ring Road. We finish our work, drink some tea, and wait for the next delivery to arrive. Some days are long, but we just get on with it until it is time to go.
