If you walk down toward the Government School in Ganesh Peth, you will find us right near Nirmala Agyaram Devi Square. We deal with a lot of ceramic tiles and other general building materials that people need for their houses. The shop is always a bit dusty from the cement bags and the ceramic cutting. We have stacks of tiles leaning against the walls and sometimes it feels like a maze in here. It is a bit of a tight space but we make it work somehow. Most of the people around here know us because we are so close to the square. It gets very noisy when the school lets out and kids are running around outside. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks that pull up near the front door. It is heavy work and my hands are usually pretty rough from handling all the stone and clay. We have a small area where we keep general supplies like pipes and tools too. It is not a very organized place but we know where everything is kept. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint but we are usually too busy with deliveries to worry about that. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time. People stop by just to chat sometimes while they are waiting for their orders to be packed. It is a basic business but it keeps the lights on and serves the local builders.
