Om Marble

Om Marble is located at No. 75 in Old Bagadganj. We are right by the Gangabai Ghat Chowk, which is a very well-known landmark in this part of town. The area is also called Old Lakadganj by many of the older folks. It’s a historic kind of place with a lot of traditional businesses. Our yard is filled with marble of all sorts. You can smell the wet stone when we are cutting it. The chowk is always bustling with people and traffic. It’s never really quiet here until very late at night. We have been in this spot for a long time. Our walls are a bit stained from the rain and the dust, but the stone inside is what matters. We spend most of our time out in the open area of the yard. It’s dusty and noisy, but we like being part of the neighborhood. People stop by on their way to the ghat or the market. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just talk to the people who come to the gate. We show them the different colors and patterns we have in stock. It’s a simple process of picking what you like and us loading it up. We know most of the people around here by name. It’s a tight-knit community in Bagadganj. We just keep doing our work every day until it is time to close up and go home to our families.
