Rupam Steels

Rupam Steels is located at number 22 in Zahara Manzil, right on the main CA Road in Gandhibagh. If you know the area, you know it can be a bit chaotic with all the traffic and the shops packed close together. We are tucked behind Ishwardas Phataka, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Our day usually starts early when the trucks arrive. Steel is heavy and messy work, so our clothes usually have a bit of grime on them by noon. We don't have a clean, air-conditioned showroom. It is more of a warehouse feel where you can see the actual stock we have on hand. There is a lot of shouting back and forth to get the loading done and making sure the right sizes are sent out to the customers. We deal with a lot of local contractors and small builders who need material for their sites around the city. Gandhibagh is a place where everyone is busy and we fit right in with that energy. We have been at this location long enough that we know most of the other shop owners on the street. It is a simple operation. We buy steel, we store it, and we sell it to people who need it. There are no fancy presentations or long meetings. We just check the weights, write the bills, and move on to the next delivery that needs to go out.
