You can find us at Plot No. 7 in the Sardar Patel Timber Market on Ghat Road. It is a very industrial part of town, so it isn't the cleanest or the quietest place to work. There are trucks coming and going at all hours, usually loaded down with wood or stone. The sound of saws and the smell of sawdust are everywhere. We handle stone here, which is heavy, dirty work. Most of our days are spent moving slabs around or talking to contractors who come through the market. Ghat Road is always congested, especially in the mornings when deliveries are being made. Our shop is more of a working yard than a fancy showroom. We have things piled up where they fit, and there is usually a layer of fine stone dust on everything. It’s the kind of place where you wear old clothes because you know you’re going to get dirty. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers who are just browsing; most people come here with a specific job in mind. It is a tough environment, but we like being part of the Timber Market. There is a sense of community among the shop owners here. We all look out for each other's plots. It’s just a basic, hardworking spot where we get things done without any fuss or fancy talk.
