Our place is at 5, Nasrani Bhawan, right in the Dhantoli area of the city. We are situated right opposite Yashwant Stadium, which makes things interesting when there’s a match or an event going on. The traffic can get a bit loud, and parking is sometimes a headache for the customers, but we’ve stayed here because it’s a central spot. The shop itself is packed with different tile designs. We have everything from basic white ones to things with more color. Since we’re in an older building, the space has its own character, even if the walls aren’t perfectly straight. Most people who live around Dhantoli know where we are. We spend the day helping people figure out how many boxes they need for a kitchen or a balcony. It’s mostly just us chatting with locals and writing down orders on yellow pads. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for the displays; you just look at the actual tiles stacked up. Sometimes the dust from the stadium construction blows in, so we’re always wiping down the samples. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but the shop remains pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, making sure people have choices for their renovations without any complicated sales talk or pressure.
