Raj Stone

Raj Stone is located in Somarwada, right along Wardha Road. We are quite close to Manish Nagar, which is a landmark most locals know well. Our yard is filled with different types of stone that we have brought in for various building projects. Since we are on Wardha Road, there is a constant stream of cars and trucks passing by our gate. It gets pretty loud, especially in the mornings. Most of our work involves moving these heavy stones using whatever equipment we have or just by hand when they are smaller. It is very physical and we are usually tired by the end of the shift. The ground in the yard is often uneven and covered in stone chips and dust. When it rains, it can get a bit muddy, but we keep working through it. People stop their cars when they see a piece of stone they like and come in to ask about the price per square foot. We don't have a big sales team, just a couple of us who know about the different types of granite and marble we keep in stock. We usually sit on some plastic chairs near the entrance to keep an eye on the road and wait for customers. It is a simple way of doing business, focusing on the stone and the people who need it for their homes. We’ve been at this spot in Somarwada for several years now.
