We are located over at Pioneer Residency Park in Somalwada, which is a pretty quiet spot compared to some of the busier parts of Sonegaon. If you know the area near Jai Prakash Nagar, you’ve probably passed by us without even realizing it. Lakshmi Engineering Corporation isn't a massive, shiny corporate building; it's more of a practical workspace where we get things done every day. Some mornings the traffic on the way in is a bit of a headache, especially around the main intersections, but once you get inside the gates here, it settles down. We’ve been here for a while now, and the neighbors in the residency park mostly know us by sight. Usually, there’s a couple of us standing outside near the entrance around mid-morning having a quick tea. The shop itself has that smell of cut metal and grease that you never really get out of your clothes. It’s a bit dusty, and the fans on the ceiling don’t always keep the heat away in the summer, but we make it work. We don't have a fancy reception area with someone waiting to greet you with a script. It’s just us. Most people who come by are looking for specific parts or help with a project they're stuck on. We just try to keep the machines running and make sure everything that leaves the floor is built right. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do here in this corner of Nagpur.
