Kalidas Engineering Works

We are located at Shop No. 75 in Bhamti. It is an old engineering workshop, nothing too modern or flashy. We have our lathes and drilling machines set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. Bhamti is a decent area for this kind of work. We get all sorts of jobs, from small repairs to making parts from scratch. The floor is concrete and has seen a lot of wear over the years. We usually have the radio playing in the background, but you can barely hear it over the sound of the metal being cut. It is just a few of us working here. We don't have a front desk or a secretary. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks it up with greasy fingers. Sometimes we are working late into the evening if a customer needs something urgently for their own factory. The lighting isn't the best, so we use some old desk lamps to see the fine details on the blueprints. We’ve known the guys in the shops next door for a long time, so we often borrow tools or help each other out with heavy lifting. It's just a regular engineering shop doing regular work. We don't spend money on advertising; we just stay busy with the work that comes through the door.
