Out here on Katol Road in Nagpur, you’ll find us at A 4 Aakarnagar. International Design Engineering Solutions India Pvt Ltd is a place where we do a lot of the heavy lifting for technical projects. Nagpur can get incredibly hot, so our office is usually a bit of a refuge from the sun while we work on design layouts. The space isn't very big, and we’ve got shelves full of old project files that we probably should have archived years ago. We aren't really into the whole corporate polish thing. Our team is small, and we mostly just focus on getting the engineering details right. You might see a few tea stains on some of the older drawings, and the chairs aren't the most ergonomic, but we’re used to them by now. We spend our days looking at schematics and checking measurements. It’s quiet work for the most part, punctuated by the occasional sound of traffic from the road outside. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just know what needs to be done and we sit down and do it. Aakarnagar is a decent place to be based, and we’ve been here long enough that we know all the local food stalls nearby. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we take some pride in the fact that our designs actually turn into real structures.
