You’ll find us in Flat No 301 of the Ganesh Apartment building over in Manish Nagar. We’re located in the Somalwada area of Nagpur, and since we’re in a residential flat, it’s a very informal environment. We use this space to manage our textile and spinning operations. It’s a bit crowded with all the sample folders and the desks we’ve managed to squeeze in. We don’t have a sign on the main road, so you have to know which building to look for. The apartment is on the third floor, and sometimes we have to walk up if the lift is being serviced. It’s a small team of us working here, handling the orders and checking in with the production units. We spend a lot of time on our computers and mobile phones. The kitchen area of the flat is where we take our breaks and have our lunch. It’s a very practical way to run a business without spending too much on fancy office rent. We see a lot of people from the textile trade coming in and out to drop off documents or samples. The neighborhood is mostly quiet during the day, which helps us stay focused. It’s not a corporate headquarters by any means, just a busy apartment where we keep the business moving. We like it this way because it feels more personal and less stiff.
