Shamims Hair And Beauty Professional Salon Acedemy is based in Nagpur at Dharampeth. We are in the Jagat Millennium building at L-1. It is right at the Law College Square, so there is always something going on outside. Being opposite the RTO Office means there are always people moving around and cars parked everywhere. We have a salon for the regulars and then the academy side. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes. In the 440010 area, you have to be ready for anything. I spend my time teaching the younger ones how to hold the shears and how to treat the skin, while also making sure our salon customers are taken care of. Jagat Millennium is a good spot because it’s easy for the students to get to. We don't use any corporate talk or have a fancy mission statement. We just show up and teach what we know. It’s a lot of practice and repetition. The salon part keeps us grounded in what people actually want. Dharampeth is a lively place to work. You see all sorts of people at Law College Square. We have been here for a while and have seen many students go off to start their own shops. It’s a lot of work, but we just keep at it day by day. The RTO office is a good landmark if you ever get lost looking for us.
