Stone Palace

Stone Palace is situated at Plot No. 5 & 6, right by the Gangabai Ghat Chowk. It’s a wide-open area compared to some of the tighter spots in the city. We have a good amount of space here to keep our stones and materials organized. The chowk is usually busy with people and vehicles, so there’s always something to see. At Stone Palace, we don’t have a fancy reception desk. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out. We spend most of our time out in the yard or checking the inventory in the sheds. It’s physical work and it keeps us on our toes. We don’t bother with big advertisements or polished brochures. People find us because of where we are and what we do. Working near Gangabai Ghat Chowk means we are part of the local scenery. We start the day early and finish when the work is done. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a big delivery to handle. It’s not a complicated setup. We just have our plots, our stones, and our small crew. We try to be helpful and honest about what we have in stock. It’s just a regular business doing regular work every day. It gets loud with the traffic nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just keep our heads down and keep moving the stone from one side of the plot to the other.
