Agtech Wavez (Opc) Private Limited is run by Mahadevanayaka out of Hosuru Kallahalli in K R Nagar. Being an OPC means it’s a one-person show mostly, though there are always friends and family helping out in the background. The office is at the house in Kallahalli, so it’s a very informal setup. We are looking at ways to bring technology into the farming we do here in K R Nagar. It’s a small village area, so everyone knows what’s going on at Mahadevanayaka’s place. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a room with a computer and some farm equipment nearby. Sometimes the internet is slow, which can be frustrating when you are trying to do tech work, but that’s life in the rural parts. We spend a lot of time out in the fields testing things out and seeing what actually works for the local crops. It’s a mix of old ways and new ideas. People stop by to see what the latest thing is or just to say hello. There isn't a strict schedule, we just work when there is work to be done. K R Nagar is a good place to be because the land is decent and people are willing to try new things. It’s a simple operation, but we stay busy every single day, trying to keep up with the changes in the season and the market.
