Our business, K.S.Maribasappa & Sons, is located on Big Bazar Street in Chamarajanagar. It’s a family-run place, and you can definitely feel that when you walk in. We’ve been on this street for a long time, and the name has been passed down through the generations. Big Bazar Street is usually the center of everything here, so there is always noise and people passing by our door. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a traditional store where things are stacked wherever they fit. We handle a bit of everything, mostly trading goods that the local people need for their homes. The building itself is older, with high ceilings and those heavy wooden doors that take some muscle to open. We spend our days talking to customers, weighing items, and writing out receipts by hand. It’s not a fast-paced corporate environment. We like to take our time and make sure everything is right for the person across the counter. Sometimes we sit out front and talk to the other shop owners when things are slow in the afternoon. Chamarajanagar is a place where people value honesty and a good chat. We don't have a big marketing plan or a website that we update. Most people just know where we are. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for decades. It's about being a part of the community more than anything else. We just try to be fair.
