Nugu Farmers Producer Company Limited is our name and we are located in Mysore. Specifically, we are at No 63, 2nd Cross in the LIC Colony of Srirampura. It’s a decent area and easy enough to find if you are in the city. We aren't exactly like the businesses in the center of Mysore; we are more connected to the farmers outside. We use this spot as our base of operations. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people who come in from the rural parts of the district. The address 570023 is where we keep our files and do the planning. We started this because we saw a need for farmers to have their own company. It’s not about making a huge profit for some distant owner. It's just us. The office is simple, just some tables and chairs and a lot of paper. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. We just do the work of coordinating the produce. Sometimes we have to go out to the fields to see how things are going. Mysore has a good climate for a lot of different crops, so there is always something happening. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to people. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help our local group. We hope that we can keep this going for a long time.
