Sri Vaishnavi Restaurant

Sri Vaishnavi Restaurant is on KRS Main Road in the Gokulam 2nd Stage area of Mysore. We are pretty close to the Gokul Theatre, so we get a lot of people stopping in before or after a movie. It’s a regular neighborhood restaurant. We serve meals throughout the day, starting from breakfast. The place has a few tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. It’s not the kind of spot where you’d find fancy lights or cloth napkins. We just use plain tables and get the food out as quick as we can. The kitchen is right at the back and you can usually hear the sound of the dosa tawa or the pressure cooker going. We have a few regulars who come in every single morning for their coffee and tiffin. It’s nice to see the same faces. Our staff is small, just a couple of people waiting tables and a few in the kitchen. We try to keep the place clean, though it gets a bit messy when it’s busy. We don't do any big promotions. If the food is okay, people come back, and that’s how we've stayed open. It is a straightforward place for anyone in Gokulam who wants a quick bite without paying too much. Most days we are just busy keeping up with the orders and making sure the coffee is hot when it reaches the table.
