Shivamma Family Dhaba

Shivamma Family Dhaba is out on the Hunsur Ring Road in the Hebbal area of Mysore. we are not far from the Bharat Cancer Hospital. It is a roadside place, so we get a lot of travelers passing through. We have some outdoor seating under a tin roof and some inside. It gets quite breezy in the evenings which is nice. We serve mostly local style food, nothing too complicated. The masala is made fresh every couple of days. We have a big parking area which is good for people driving long distances. The washrooms are basic but we try to keep them usable. Our staff is small, mostly just family and a couple of helpers. We don't have a printed menu that stays the same; we just tell you what we cooked today. Sometimes we run out of chicken early. The lights are a bit dim at night but we have some bright ones near the kitchen. It’s a simple spot for a family to stop and have a meal without spending too much. We see all kinds of people, from truck drivers to families in big cars. We’ve been here at this spot for a while now and the locals know us. It is just a plain dhaba on the ring road. We don't try to be anything else.
